Jennifer Meier is a graduate of the prestigious California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Her culinary career spans a decade and includes stints in restaurants, gourmet shops, and wine stores in New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She also holds a degree in Communications from the University of Washington in Seattle. Eventually, the writing and cooking merged into a food-writing career.
Jennifer has collaborated with Mark on three cookbooks, The Primal Blueprint Cookbook, Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals and Primal Blueprint Healthy Sauces, Dressing & Toppings.
Jennifer discovered the Primal lifestyle as a curious chef looking to broaden her knowledge of healthy eating. She believes it is not enough for a recipe simply to be Primal; it must also be really, really good.
Jennifer lives in Los Angeles where she is happy to have never needed a gym membership. She stays fit by being outdoors as much as possible, running, walking, climbing stairs, and occasionally doing yoga. She lives with her husband and daughter.
