Mission Statement

We produce books, live programming, and multimedia educational material that empower you to take responsibility for your health and well being. We challenge flawed conventional wisdom and present fresh new ideas and voices in the fields of diet, fitness, nutrition and healthy living.

Our History

In 2006, Mark Sisson made it his personal goal to effect change in 10 million lives, so he started what has become one of the top health and fitness blogs online, MarksDailyApple.com. The blog offers commentary on all manner of topics related to ancestral health and the Primal Blueprint lifestyle. The thriving Mark’s Daily Apple community encourages investigation, discussion and critically rethinking everything assumed to be true about health and wellness.

In 2009, buoyed by the popularity of the blog and encouragement from readers, Mark Sisson self-published what eventually became a best-selling and critically acclaimed book, The Primal Blueprint. Since then, the Primal Blueprint library has expanded to include numerous titles, including: The Primal Blueprint Cookbook, Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals, The Primal Blueprint 21-Day Total Body Transformation, The Primal Blueprint 90-Day Journal, The Primal Blueprint Healthy Sauces, Dressings & Toppings, The Primal Connection, and Primal Endurance.

In 2013, with a strong presence established in the literary world, Primal Blueprint Publishing began branching out to publish works from other authors that support the themes of taking personal responsibility for health and living according to ancestral health principles. Unlike traditional publishing companies following template formulas, Primal Blueprint Publishing seeks out the best and the brightest voices with the most compelling ideas, and helps them tell the stories they are destined to tell. Our material challenges conventional wisdom at every turn and never waters down the message for the sake of marketability.
